Real Madrid complicates the transfer of its player to Manchester United
An English press report revealed, today, Wednesday, that Manchester United began talks with Real Madrid in order to include his player this summer, but that the deal may not take place due to the royal conditions.
Real Madrid does not mind the departure of Sergio Regilon, the left back of the team for 27 million pounds, after spending last season on loan with Seville, but he is third among the Royal players in his position after the duo Ferland Mendy and Marcelo.
Manchester United wants to strengthen the left-front position in its ranks, in light of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s lack of confidence in Luke Shaw in the long term due to his repeated injuries, and young Brandon Williams’ lack of sufficient experience.
According to the British newspaper, “Express“, Ed Woodward, Executive Director of Manchester United, is not satisfied with Real Madrid’s request to include the repurchase option clause in the Regilon contract to complete the deal.
Real Madrid requires that it be able to re-sign Regilon at roughly the same price, while Manchester United adheres to rejecting this condition and it appears that negotiations have reached a dead end.
